The Annual Balloon Fiesta Anesthesia Meeting
October 7-9, 2016

Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown
Albuquerque, New Mexico

15 Class A CE Credits
(Fulfills your annual Class A CE requirement)

Program Information

This program offers 15 Class A credits and this will fulfill your annual Class A CE requirements under the new CPC Program. These credits will also apply if you recertify under the current program in 2017.

The sessions will begin on Friday AM October 7. On this day we will offer 5 Credits in a morning session and a Buffet Breakfast will be included. The same schedule will apply on Sunday October 9. Saturday's session will begin in the afternoon allowing time to visit the Balloon Fiesta Mass Ascension. This is a spectacle not to be missed with as many as 800 Hot Air Balloons launching into the New Mexico skies. More details will be available soon.

The program is designed for practicing nurse anesthetists and will focus on clinical and practice management issues. The didactic lectures will explore current thinking on the management of anesthesia for patients with rheumatoid conditions, prevention of awareness under anesthesia, the use of social media in the operating room , considerations for management of changes in maternal physiology brought about by pregnancy, legal, business, and economic aspects of practice, the impact of the Affordable Care Act on practice management and tips on management of office based anesthesia and emergencies in the office.

Adequate time is available for discussion, evaluation, questions and answers. Case  studies and  audience  participation are encouraged for program enrichment.

A special group room rate of $205.00 (plus tax) will apply for registrants at this program. Rooms at this rate are available only through ICS Travel, Inc. (800-875-2525). The concurrent Annual International Balloon Fiesta Event results in many properties selling out quickly so we recommend early registration and room reservation if possible.
